WE SCREEN, YOU SCREEN, HUSKERS SCREEN FOR NETWORK FEEDS!

Huskers-screen-for--feeds!

What do you do when you’re Huskers Radio Network and you need a little something for managing feeds after moving the entire multimedia department (including consoles and WheatNet IP system) into a 25,200-square-foot facility? Create a touchscreen interface, of course.

The above touchscreen was created by Inrush integrators using ScreenBuilder to manage the distribution network that feeds Huskers Radio Network affiliates. With this, anyone seated at any of the four main studio consoles can quickly trigger salvos for each of the networks, change network audio monitoring and track/confirm that closures are being fired to all affiliates. The touchscreen ties directly into the LXE IP audio console engine and into a Barix distribution network that feeds more than 30 affiliate stations.

“Big Red Moves Its Multimedia Department” was originally featured in Radio Worlds ebook Sweet New Studios for 2026.
