IP Meters
Meet IP Meters

IP Meters displays a “wall of meters” on a PC screen for ongoing monitoring of audio peak levels, average levels, and various other parameters at selected points throughout the WheatNet IP audio network. The IP Meters GUI gives you ongoing metering of audio levels, signal density, FFT graphs, and more. Fully customizable, the IP-MTR64 Meters GUI lets you display an almost limitless array of metering and analysis on the monitor of any computer connected to the WheatNet IP audio network. Plus, meters have silence detection, so you can see at a glance if an audio stream has gone down, and where.

L-vs-R

L/R Phase Meter:

One of the biggest problems that has dogged radio and TV broadcasters since the dawn of stereo audio is phase reversal. Broadcasters know that if a stereo signal somehow gets wired out of phase at some point in the chain, it can cause all kinds of problems with the sound of the audio, including a complete cancellation of any content (such as voice) that appears equally on both the left and right channels of the signal.

Monitoring phase is not as critical as it once was with the advent of digital audio, but phase problems still rear their ugly heads from time to time. With the phase monitor in IP meters, you can quickly verify the phase of any stereo signal in your plant.

IP Meters Fast Fourier Transform

FFT (Fast Fourier Transform):

Helpful for analyzing frequency response in real time and for diagnosing issues with noise and audio artifacts.

IP Meters Loudness

Loudness:

Perception is everything, and that’s where loudness comes in. The loudness meter in IP Meters helps you keep the perceived sound of your audio consistent.

IP Meters also includes an oscilloscope mode, a 3D plot, SDR, E vs F and both polar and Lissajous phase meters.
