WheatNet IP audio networked facilities come in all manner of size and scope, many with diverse and unique requirements. Whether it’s sharing resources with an existing TDM network, running IP audio over a wireless STL, or simply adding more logic ports for sports and other feeds, WheatNet IP has a specialty Blade for that.
The MADI Blade converts 64-channel MADI inputs into data streams on the WheatNet-IP audio network and vice versa, allowing seamless integration with intercom systems, TDM routers, ProTools, and DAWS that are MADI-capable.
The HD-SDI Blade is used for de-embedding audio from an HD-SDI audio/video signal. With the HD-SDI Blade, you can bring audio into the WheatNet IP audio network from video production automation systems, routers, and other professional video equipment that uses HD-SDI. This Blade is capable of de-embedding up to four HD-SDI streams, with up to 8 audio channels per stream.
The LIO-48 Logic Blade provides 48 universal logic I/O ports that can be individually configured as either inputs or outputs for complex logic needs of modern studios and rack rooms. The LIO-48 facilitates seamless integration with various devices by accepting contact closures to trigger network events or providing control outputs for external equipment.
The EDGE Blade facilitates the integration of IP STL (Studio Transmitter Link) wireless radios into the WheatNet IP audio network. It serves as a translator between high-quality studio networks like WheatNet IP and low-bandwidth STL connectivity options, such as IP radios. Positioned typically at the studio, the EDGE Blade interfaces with IP wireless radios or leased lines to provide point-to-point connectivity. It manages data buffering to address latency variations typical in unlicensed IP radios, ensuring seamless communication between the studio and STL systems.
The M4IP-USB four channel mic processing Blade combines four high-quality microphone preamps, four channels of microphone processing, four independent USB ports, and a WheatNet IP Blade interface, allowing you to place four microphone inputs anywhere in your WheatNet IP audio network (although it also works just fine as a standalone processor). The preamps and processors are accessed and controlled from any point on the network.
The Aura8-IP Blade has eight fully independent multi-band stereo audio processors, all routable as part of the WheatNet IP audio network. Each processing chain consists of a 4-band parametric equalizer followed by a crossover and three bands of compression. The compressors each feed their own limiters, whose outputs are then fed to a broadband lookahead limiter for tight peak control. The Aura8-IP has its own local I/O, with four stereo pairs of AES digital audio and four stereo pairs of analog line level audio in and out, and can function as a standalone processing engine.
The 4RU StageBox One extends console I/O, providing 32 mic/line inputs, 16 analog line outputs, and 8 AES3 inputs and 8 AES3 outputs as well as 12 logic ports and dual Ethernet ports. Its heavy duty construction makes it adept for on-the-go applications, such as remote sporting events. StageBox One works with all WheatNet IP audio networked consoles.
If you have a Wheatstone, Audioarts, or VoxPro product, you’re an important member of the Wheatstone family and we want to hear from you, whether you have questions or need technical support, we are here for you.
