Work from anywhere, the way you like to work. Mix it up virtual in the field or from a fixed console in the studio. LXE, Glass LXE and Remote LXE have the same intuitive controls for shared workflows, including mirror tracking of those controls, yet are fully configurable by station, show or individual preferences…whether under glass as a touchscreen interface or as a split frame or single console.
LXE comes with a powerful mix engine and is the flagship console for the WheatNet IP audio network with 200+ interconnected AoIP elements, including talent stations, mic processors, virtual interface tools, server software and control panels to build your own unique studio environment.
Includes automixing, dynamics processing, and all the features of the LXE physical console with up to 32 faders of virtual mixing. Glass LXE can be used as an independent virtual mixer or complementary to a physical LXE console.
Multi-touch virtual interface for the LXE console. Real-time fader tracking between Remote LXE and the physical LXE console offers an independent, yet shared user experience for multiple operators.
The LXE is designed to be your console. Every knob, every button, every display can be programmed to accommodate virtually any workflow needed. Configure as a single tabletop with or without meterbridge or inset into your furniture grouped as separate bays connected over a CAT6 cable.
Full color OLEDs reflect your programming, and the touchscreen GUIs let you interact with your audio in fresh new ways to do everything from pinching and dragging EQ to setting up router crosspoints in your network. Along with an app to program and configure the hardware surface, LXE comes with ScreenBuilder™ app so you can create your own touchscreens. There’s never been a more customizable way to work.
Bring the studio anywhere. Glass LXE offers a dynamic multi-touch interface that mimics the physical LXE console in every function including automixing, dynamics processing, and up to 32 faders of virtual mixing. Accessible from nearly any computer with a network connection, it allows for real-time audio control across multiple studios, enhancing collaboration and flexibility in broadcast environments. Glass LXE can be used as an independent virtual mixer or complementary to a physical LXE console.
Remote LXE redefines remote broadcasting by linking you directly to the LXE console, no matter your location. This system uses a multi-touch virtual interface that acts just like the physical LXE console. With real-time fader tracking, changes made on Remote LXE are instantly mirrored on the physical console, providing a consistent and collaborative environment for multiple operators. Ideal for live remote broadcasts or managing studio operations from afar, Remote LXE ensures seamless control and professional audio quality from anywhere.
Physical Surface:
Touchscreen GUI:
LXE surfaces come with a powerful mix engine that houses all the mixing and processing functions plus essential distribution of signals.
The LXE can be ordered with up to 32 physical motorized faders, with full DSP processing available on all 32 channels. This console is part of the WheatNet IP audio network and utilizes Blade I/O units for routing, mixing and controlling audio and associated logic. The system can ingest and convert virtually all audio formats: mic and line level analog, AES/EBU, SPDIF, AoIP, MADI, SDI and AES67. Loudness metering, phase control, and full EQ/Dynamics are included.
Every switch and every button on the surface can be programmed for function, mode, and even color (switches are RGB led illuminated). All soft controls are scriptable, letting you create powerful macros for as many controls as you want. Multiple full color OLED displays keep pace with ongoing operations, and event recall allows one-touch console reconfiguration. With its inherent control flexibility and ability to access thousands of signals (sources and destinations are limited only by the size of the network), the LXE takes facility workflows and audio control to a new level.
LXE’s GUI has pre-built screens for everything you normally use – metering, clocks, timers, dynamics, EQ, assigns, and more. All are touchscreen accessible with gestures you’re used to using on your smart devices. Other, more customizable screens can be created using ScreenBuilder™LXE software by simply dragging and dropping objects and defining their functions via a simple wizard interface. You can store multiple custom screens to go with your custom LXE setups.
The LXE is now available with optional VoxPro onboard for a fully integrated mixing, routing, and live editing experience.
Integrating VoxPro into the LXE console reduces workspace clutter and gives talent more tools at their fingertips during editing and recording, including control for routing and salvos. Real-time editing is within easy reach instead of in a separate controller off to the side.
If you have a Wheatstone, Audioarts, or VoxPro product, you’re an important member of the Wheatstone family and we want to hear from you, whether you have questions or need technical support, we are here for you.
