Equally at home in newsrooms, remote vans or sports venues, this compact IP audio console has dedicated faders for eight subgroups and two masters along with 32 physical faders that can be layered for 64 channels. Strata fits in any broadcast environment as an AES67/SMPTE 2110 compatible WheatNet IP audio networked mixer console surface. It has a touchscreen interface with intuitive menu for adjusting EQ, dynamics, setting talkback, configuring mix-minus feeds and bus matrices, muting mic groups, and managing sources and destinations. Per-channel OLEDs display all relevant editing and operating functions at-a-glance. With all I/O managed through the WheatNet IP audio network, this compact board has no limitations with six fixed connection points on the console chassis itself. Unrestricted routing means being able to have all faders available to dial up whatever source you need; the days of having to block out channels based on input type are a thing of the past, as is having to repurpose inputs because of physical chassis limitations. Its Mix Engine handles digital signal processing and provides advanced specialty features, such as automixer with four separate automix groups and onscreen weight control.
Everything you need is in this easy-to-navigate virtual mixer. Virtual Strata is a multi-touch virtual console that can serve as an extension of the production automation system to adjust the occasional audio level. Or it can serve as a full mixing console capable of mixing and managing an entire audio production with all the necessary automixing, control and routing features. Virtual Strata is an AES67/SMPTE 2110 compatible WheatNet IP audio networked virtual mixer that can be used as a standalone mixer or with Strata fixed console surface for shared workflows.

With WheatNet IP BLADEs, you get a virtual rack room in a 1-rack space box. They handle all the I/O (AES/EBU, SPDIF, AOIP, MADI, SDI and AES 67) and provide full routing capabilities. Each BLADE gives you two 8×2 utility mixers, 12 universal GPI/O ports, 128 software logic ports, silence detection, built-in audio clip player, stereo multi-band audio processing, and much more, assignable anywhere on the network. With it you can create workflows that would require a ton of third-party gear.
Strata is paired with Blade 4 TVE Mix Engine. This powerful yet compact (1RU) Blade handles all the mixing and processing required by the Strata control surface. The large front panel display provides metering and status displays, while the rear panel has redundant network connections, redundant AC power, HDMI / USB touchscreen ports, and 12 GPI ports. Its fanless design allows for studio quiet operation.
The optional 4RU StageBox One is for extending console I/O, providing 32 mic/line inputs, 16 analog line outputs, and 8 AES3 inputs and 8 AES3 outputs as well as 12 logic ports and dual Ethernet ports. StageBox One works with all WheatNet IP audio networked consoles.
The center display on Strata is a touch-enabled LED that gives you dynamic information about any and all functions. It reflects whatever actions you are applying to the console and updates in real time with a lightning fast refresh rate. This touchscreen allows you to use standard pinch and zoom gestures you are familiar with.
