Virtual Interfaces

Touchscreens for the WheatNet IP audio network range from mixers on laptops and news workstations or producer panels on tablets to full, standalone virtual consoles such as the Glass LXE that can be used independently or complementary to a physical LXE console with real-time fader tracking between the two. Create your own or choose from our standard virtual interfaces for sharing resources, monitoring signal flow, or adding new workspaces.

REMIX

REMIX, REMOTE APPLICATION

ReMIX enables talent in home studios or other remote locations to access station sources and codecs, turn channels on or off, control levels, advance to the next track in the automation system and build mixes on the fly through one standalone mixing application.

With ReMIX on a home laptop or tablet, an existing WheatNet-IP audio network at the studio and an internet connection between the two, all facility resources such as codecs, hybrids, and playout systems, are remotely available to the home studio.   ReMIX is the affordable alternative to a physical home studio for remote broadcasting and voicetracking.

ScreenBuilder

SCREENBUILDER

Screenbuilder, BUILD APPS FOR NETWORK CONTROL

Need to add a control panel for shared access to a dozen audio codecs between several studios? Or how about a touchscreen producer panel for controlling mics during a busy show? What about a virtual interface to monitor signals and control signal routing to multiple transmitter sites? Or a quick intercom between studios and venues? Or a news workstation that gives you automatic gain, multiple source selection, intercom,  and full mixing from one menued touchscreen?

ScreenBuilder can do the above and so much more. By utilizing pre-built widgets and a simple scripting wizard, you can create touchscreen interfaces that have full access to elements and controls in the WheatNet IP audio network. ScreenBuilder can provide remote access to the network from a laptop or tablet over any secure connection and add onto any WheatNet IP audio networked facility, giving you a quick, cost-effective and versatile solution for expanding to new workflows as needed.
