Congrats to Thierry Libert, technical director of the radio network, and his team of engineers at NGroup, which received the Best Studio Integration Award at the 2025 Paris Radio Show earlier this month. A special thanks also goes out to our friends at SAVE Diffusion, who implemented NGroup’s new multi-brand WheatNet IP studios in Brussels.

The award recognized NGroups innovative integration of WheatNet IP with playout automation to change studios between station brands in less than 30 seconds. The new studio facility for its iconic stations Nostalgie and NRJ as well as DAB+ brands Nostalgie+ and NRJ+ and fully streamed station Chérie is capable of over 3,000 full multicasts, including 40 AES67 sources, for unprecedented flexibility. Also recognized as a Best Studio Integration finalist during the Paris Radio Show: Lagardère News, another WheatNet IP studio project by SAVE.

In addition to the above, our Blade 4 I/O unit for the WheatNet IP Audio Network was awarded a Grand Prix Product Award during the Paris Radio Show. The Blade 4 includes AoIP routing, audio tools and intelligence for everything from routing sources/destinations, mixing sounds and processing feeds, to turning mics on/off, controlling consoles and triggering mix-minus presets by show, location or talent.
