NAB 2013 is now history, and we're proud to announce that Wheatstone's new radio products were the recipients of two prestigious industry honors at this year's show. They are, in no particular order, a 2013 Pick Hit Award from Radio magazine, and a 2013 Cool Stuff Award from Radio World.

M-4IP awarded Pick Hit 2013

PickHit2013Wheatstone's new M-4IP quad microphone preamp and processor won a 2013 Pick Hit Award from Radio magazine. The presentation was made on Wednesday, April 10 at the NAB show in Las Vegas.

"The Pick Hit Awards are limited to 20 winners, which maintains the value and prestige of the award," says Chriss Scherer, editor of Radiomagazine. "In addition, the Pick Hit Award judges follow a strict set of rules and make their selections independently and anonymously, which is a further testimony to the proven value of the award to radio broadcasters."

The M4-IP Microphone Processor BLADE combines four high-quality microphone preamps, four channels of Vorsis microphone processing, and a WheatNet-IP BLADE interface. It can be used as a standalone mic preamp/processor, but can also integrate seamlessly into the WheatNet-IP Intelligent Network for even greater flexibility and connectivity.

WheatNet-IP Metering GUI Awarded Cool Stuff 2013

Wheatstone's WheatNet-IP Metering GUI won a 2013 Cool Stuff Award from Radio World. The award was presented by Radio World's Editor-in-Chief, Paul McLane.

Radio World’s “Cool Stuff” Award-winning products are selected each year by a panel of radio broadcast engineers as notable for their design, features, cost efficiency and performance in serving radio broadcast users. The winners will be featured in Radio World, which is read by thousands of broadcast professionals in the United States, around the world and online.

The WheatNet-IP Metering GUI provides a tool for displaying various types of metering and audio analysis tools using a standard Windows PC. It's designed to source its audio directly from the WheatNet-IP Intelligent Network, giving it access to analyze audio anywhere in the network without the need for additional cabling, hardware, or adapters.
